Golf Course Technician
Island View Golf Club
Island View Golf Club in Waconia, MN is currently seeking to fill a Golf Course Technician position. Island View GC is a semi-private 18 hole golf course established in 1959. The course consists of bent/poa greens, bluegrass tees, and bluegrass fairways. The property is irrigated with a Toro irrigation system that was installed in 2005. The club is committed to continuous improvement throughout the property and regularly undergoes projects both small and large to meet that commitment.

The GC Technician is a 9 month position starting March 1 and ending November 30. General work hours are Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm and every other weekend 5:30am-9:30am.

Responsibilities and experiences will include but not be limited to:
- Fertilizer and pesticide applications
- Irrigation maintenance & repair
- Staff training & supervision of small crews
- Daily course maintenance and golf course setup
- Cultural practices including verticutting, topdressing, and aerifying
- Minor in-house renovation projects

This is an hourly paid position with some overtime which is paid at time and a half. The pay range is $20- $25/hr depending on experience.
