The School Based Heath Center RN often works independently to assess a variety of pediatric symptoms and situations. Proactive, self-directed and critical thinking skills, along with a collaborative team approach, are some of the characteristics we are looking for.
The School Based Health Center RN plays a vital role at La Clinica, not only by ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate care, but through opportunities to support families toward optimum health.
We currently have positions available throughout the school year with the option of 2 to 5 days a week.
We are looking for someone who has:
A passion for our mission
Skills in communicating with a diverse population
A current unrestricted Oregon RN license, AND accepted, BSN preferred
Minimum of two years’ experience in acute or ambulatory care setting within the last eight years
Electronic medical record experience preferred (typing skills required)
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred, but not required

This position is for a full-time RN working as part of a behavioral health team. Our behavioral health teams provide intensive services to adults with serious mental illness including many services that are provided in the community and client homes. This position may also provide outreach, case management, skills training, groups, and other supportive services as part of comprehensive team services. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and should be accomplished in collaboration with other members of the treatment team and able to develop and maintain positive relationships with community partners.
