The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for all clinical aspects of treatment for the patients they oversee. This includes the assessment and analysis of the patient’s skills and challenging behaviors, development of treatment plans, overseeing the implementation of treatment, collaboration with and training of their patient’s caregivers, as well as ongoing coaching and training of behavioral technicians. Treatment plans are primarily designed to address areas of medical necessity, and may occur in a variety of settings including the CARD center, patient’s home, school, community, or via telehealth. Clinical Supervisors report to the Clinical Manager. This is a salaried, exempt, full-time position.

Crossroads Center for Children

Crossroads Center for Children offers several different programs for children ages two through twelve. This position involves overseeing ABA therapy provided by a behavior technician to children with autism through the ABA Clinic. The therapy setting is the child's home, child-care setting, other community setting, or Crossroads Clinic. Candidates would work alongside six other skilled behavior analysts in a strong ABA community. The licensed behavior analyst would be expected to work 35 hours per week with a very flexible schedule. Candidates must have a current and valid driver’s license and personal transportation is required for this position.

Expectations of a Licensed Behavior Analysts: 
• Assess client’s skills and develop treatment plans accordingly. 
• Train behavior technicians in the implementation of treatment plans. 
• Monitor plans regularly by observing minimally 10% of therapy hours and reviewing data minimally once per month. 
• Work collaboratively with families and other service providers. 
• Document services according to insurance guidelines.

ABA therapists will work with children with autism and their families in the home, community, and/or office settings in Nassau and Suffolk Counties (Long Island), Queens, and Westchester. Requirements:

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, or a related field is required.

Experience working with children with special needs is a plus
