Summit Emergency Communications Center
Summit Emergency Communication Center (SECC) 9-1-1 Telecommunicators perform a full range of call taking and dispatching functions for law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical emergency services (EMS) calls, as well as certain non-emergency functions. Job responsibilities are performed under general supervision.


Advertised Salary
Full-Time:
1st Shift: $27.71 per hour/$57,636.80 annually
2nd Shift: $28.11 per hour/$58,468.80 annually
3rd Shift: $28.21 per hour/$58,676.80 annually

Part-Time:
$26.00 per hour all shifts

Applicants from other dispatch centers may be eligible for a lateral transfer. In order to be considered for a lateral transfer, applicants must have successfully passed 9-1-1 Call Taking and Dispatching training probation plus have 2 years on the job experience at a PSAP in the United States. Lateral transfer candidates will have the opportunity for prior service time to be considered in wage scale and vacation accrual.
