SSM Health St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency Faculty
SSM Health St. Anthony The St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency Program, a community-based program in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking a board-certified family physician to join a group of talented facult... y to support an excellent program of 27 residents and meet the needs of a busy family medicine clinic connected to the hospital campus. To accomplish the program’s mission “to develop competent and compassionate family physicians who reveal the healing presence of God through exceptional healthcare and Christ-like character,” St. Anthony residents receive training in almost every setting – rural, inner city, suburban, and international. Graduates’ practices range from working in an outpatient clinic to caring for patients in a busy intensive care unit or on a labor and delivery suite. Currently, the program has a team of 8 full-time faculty, 8 part-time faculty, and 1 full-time psychologist. Faculty divide their time between working in their own clinic and precepting residents in the Family Medicine Center and procedure clinic. Other duties include supervising residents in inpatient and obstetric care, participating in scholarly activities, and mentoring young physicians.
