This is an additional Occupational Therapist position, focused on client related employment, that requires the candidate to assess the occupational needs of refugee clients, develop programs to address those needs, and assess the outcomes under the direction of the Director of USCRI Cleveland and the Occupational Therapy team. This will occur in collaboration with other staff and volunteers, including the employment teams. Therapy will be delivered in a variety of contexts, as appropriate, including the USCRI Field Office, in the community, clients’ prospective and/or current employer, and in clients’ homes. Since experiential learning is central to the work of OT, interventions in natural settings as much as feasible are critical to their effectiveness. The ideal candidate must be self-motivating and demonstrate leadership, problem solving, and adaptability skills.
