The Director ABS on boards Adult Basic Skills (ABS) and English Language Learner (ELL) students, assists them with testing and placement in ABS/ELL programs, and provides them with ongoing guidance and support. The director meets regularly with the ABS leadership team to promote student success, make strategic decisions that ensure performance-based funding state and federal targets are met, and implement policies and procedures that meet student needs and connect them to community resources.

ESOL Enrollment Advisor - Bilingual

The ESOL Enrollment Advisor acts as the first point of contact and ensures success with the enrollment process for individuals interested or involved in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) programs. This position supports individuals in person at the Rock Creek and Southeast campuses as well as remote. Assists with remote testing, placement processes, and procedures. Schedules students for tests, responds to student questions and issues, and connects individuals seeking support with internal College departments and staff. Maintains remote testing procedures with consistency across the College. Participates in the development and recommendation of policies, procedures, and processes to improve operations and make the intake process and experience more equitable using a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion lens to improve retention outcomes. Contributes to individual and team student enrollment and retention goals by tracking and analyzing interactions and outcomes in all student service modalities. Questions?
