340B Program Coordinator
The 340B Program Coordinator for the Pharmacy Department monitors and manages the pharmacy's ability to acquire reduced price medications and provide them to eligible patients. The coordinator ensures that the 340B pharmacy program is continuously compliant with state and federal regulations. Development of systems and processes to limit program liabilities and provide audits to identify risk and prevent duplicate discounts and diversion is key functions of this position. The coordinator will continuously monitor for changes in the 340B program and offer contributions and changes to the 340B pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure 340B compliance and improve its efficiency and value. The ability to work independently, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate and train other staff are key requirements. This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy.

Inpatient Pharmacy Technician:
The Inpatient Pharmacy Technician assists with the preparation and dispensing of medications for patients served by Broadlawns Medical Center Inpatient Pharmacy. All duties are performed under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Position would include:
Pharmacist will ensure the accuracy and completeness of orders as entered by pharmacy staff - Pharmacist will perform Drug Utilization Reviews during prescription processing - Pharmacist will screen for Drug Interactions - Pharmacist will monitor for appropriate dose and directions of medication, collaborating with prescriber, nursing, and other medical staff when necessary - Pharmacist will Review prepared medications for accuracy - Pharmacist will Counsel patients as required. - Pharmacist will comply with all Company, State, and Federal regulations and requirements

Providing diabetes education programs to patients
Screening for and providing Immunizations
Performing clinical activities that deliver value based care, which includes medication therapy management, medication synchronization, and documentation of interventions
Assisting with compounding services
