Adjunct - Genetic Data Analysis - Bioinformatics Course

This 3 credit course will take place Spring of 2023 and is for Master of Science in Pharmacogenomics students to introduce them to Genetic Data Analysis. It is an asynchronous online course, with option of synchronous sessions to review use of web tools etc. We offer competitive adjunct rates. PGY2 Clinical Pharmacogenomics Pharmacy Resident
Children's Minnesota
The ASHP Accredited PGY 2 Pharmacogenomics pharmacy residency will provide the resident the expertise to implement a successful clinical pharmacogenomics program. The PGY 2 resident will gain experience interpreting pharmacogenomic test results, creating pharmacogenomic clinical consults, and developing electronic clinical decision support tools for the Children’s Minnesota electronic health record. Strengths of the program include use of a broad multi-gene test panel, a multi-disciplinary implementation committee and commitment to becoming a leader in pharmacogenomic clinical services. The institution’s integration of the electronic health record which spans inpatient acute care services and ambulatory care clinics allows for this implementation across the spectrum of care. The PGY2 resident will provide direct patient care in a pharmacogenomics specialty clinic in addition to other ambulatory and inpatient services. Pharmacists at Children’s Minnesota practice in the context of an integrated pharmaceutical care approach. The resident will provide leadership integrating clinical pharmacogenomics in this context.
