Lakewood Water District The Engineering Manager is part of the District’s six-member senior leadership team that reports directly to the District’s General Manager. Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design and execution of civil engineering infrastructure projects (drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation) for small, rural municipalities and special-purpose districts in eastern Washington. Collaborate with Varela team members, City Staff (clients), and contractors to deliver exceptional infrastructure projects.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. PE license preferred, but not necessarily required. Mid-level engineering experience (roughly 10-20 years of work experience) with a focus on hands-on project involvement. Project management experience a plus.
