School Leader Fellowship
Ascent Classical Academies
Now is an exciting time to be a leader in the classical education movement! Ascent Classical Academies is expanding and adding new campuses, to provide more families and children access to an American Classical Education.

Strong school leaders and great teachers are key to a high-quality charter school, with an important mission to develop the minds, hearts, and bodies of our young people.

In order to ensure families have strong leadership in Ascent Classical Academy schools, we have developed an Ascent Classical School Leader fellowship, to prepare experienced classical educators to lead and in some cases, open new Ascent Classical Academy schools.
Ascent Classical School Leadership Fellows will serve in an existing school for up to a year to develop and hone their abilities to prepare them to lead a school. Each fellowship is individually tailored but includes topics in:
Academic leadership and administration;
School operations; and
External relations.

Fellows will have a leadership coach who will work to develop a leadership training plan to ensure fellows have a well-rounded development program to prepare them to take the reins of a school.

Successful fellows who have demonstrated their readiness for school leadership may start preparing to open or take over a school during the second half of the fellowship. Fellows may also have the opportunity to fill positions as deans / assistant headmasters.

Ascent Classical Academies is currently looking for candidates ready to take their career in classical education to the next level and accepting applicants for the 2022-2023 school year.
