Tenure-track (future permanent researcher) on ML/DRL for robotics
MINES ParisTech The center for Robotics of MINES_ParisTech (located in central Paris) is looking for a future permanent Researcher in Machine-Learning (ML) for Robotics, ideally focusing on ML fo... r planning/control and image-based behavior learning, e.g. Deep Reinforcement Learning for learning robotics tasks. Candidates should hold (or very soon defend) a PhD in the broad domain of ML for Robotics. The position is initially a fixed-term contract of 3 x 1 year, that shall normally lead to a Permanent Researcher position after 3 years. Note that the starting salary is significantly higher than for French standard assistant-professor ("maître de conférences") or research fellow ("Chargé de Recherche"), and that there is no minimum teaching duty (even if the candidate is expected to involve in courses taught at MINES ParisTech).
