Job Title: Project Manager, Renewable Natural Gas/Digester Facility



Position Overview:

Run the construction of a renewable natural gas facility with an on-site wastewater treatment facility and on-site power generation.



Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of the project construction between contractors, consultants, engineers, construction managers, and equipment vendors.
Review and optimize construction drawings, and specifications.
Manage project contract compliance, scheduling and conduct budget reconciliation.
Conduct regular site-visits to track and report on on-going activity and project status, ensuring project is completed on-time, on-budget, and best-in-class.


Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, industrial, mechanical, electrical), PE preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
8+ years of project management experience, with a focus on large capital infrastructure projects.
Prior experience within the anaerobic digestion or renewable natural gas (RNG) or managing projects in a related sector, such as wastewater, anaerobic digesters.
Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system experience.
Salary range of $125,000-$200,000 commensurate with experience

Director of GHG Data and Innovation

POSITION PURPOSE
CalBio is seeking a motivated and established GHG professional for the position of Director of GHG Data and Innovation. Reporting to the Vice President of GHG Programs, the Director of GHG Data and Innovation’s role is to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all relevant GHG data collected for CalBio’s projects and used in CalBio’s fuel pathway modeling. The position will oversee a team of GHG data professionals and will work to optimize data collection and reporting processes. Separately, the Director of GHG Data and Innovation will work with senior management to develop innovative lifecycle assessment pathways to maximize GHG reductions and achieve certification with CARB and other credit generation programs.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core responsibilities include the following:
• Direct and oversee activities related to GHG data collection and reporting, working to ensure that all data are received, processed, and analyzed in a timely fashion, for utilization in reporting to internal and external stakeholders including government agencies (CARB, EPA, CDFA, etc.) across CalBio’s portfolio of projects.
• Supervise and grow a team of GHG data professionals working to implement and optimize processes and procedures necessary for preparing data of the highest level of integrity and accuracy in accordance with GHG accounting practices.
• Manage and provide recommendations on the development of software applications developed by third-party consultants that can be used to automate and streamline data collection, reporting, and analysis.
• Oversee and implement quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes and perform QA/QC checks

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, data science, or related field required. Preference given to candidates with a relevant Master’s degree and/or direct experience in GHG accounting, lifecycle modeling, or other highly technical field.
