What we are looking for:
- You have a deep understanding of computer science, software design, and knows about robotics and control theory. We are looking a senior automotive software developer with strong analytical and programming skills. You meet at least a few of the following:
- Master or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in modern C++ (e.g. C++11) and in writing robust, safety-critical, efficient code. Knowledge of Python, Java or Javascript is a plus.
- Experience working in the automotive sector, e.g. car OEMs, Tier1 suppliers, etc.

The Role:

About you:
• University educated with a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or other related discipline with demonstrable experience
• Significant experience of the application of safety and risk engineering processes to identify hazards, assess risk and implement controls to reduce risk to an acceptable level
• Proven experience of either: HAZOPS, SWIFT, Fault Tree Analysis, Event Tree Analysis, Zonal Hazard Analysis, Bowtie Analysis etc.
• Working knowledge of UK/EASA and FAA Civil Aviation Publications and UK Defence Standards and MAA Regulatory Articles
• Must hold or be able to obtain unrestricted Security Clearance
