The Community Radiology Division currently includes 22 faculty and 4 radiologist assistants. Service locations include Parkland Health & Hospital System, University Hospitals and 6 ambulatory clinics, all with state-of-the-art equipment. The PACs system is integrated with the EMR for easy review of relevant history by the interpreting radiologist. Standardized dictation templates are utilized for ease of decision support in up-to-date radiology interpretations and recommendations. Radiologist-led quality assurance programs ensure patients are safely and optimally imaged.

Body Radiologists- Mostly on-site, targeting one remote reading day per week- hiring as soon as available , and also in 2024/5. Maryland license and credentialing needed prior to start.

Partner and partnership track radiologists take scant weekend call (only 4 weekends a year- Sats on site and Sundays remote reading- plus a holiday) and occasional weekday evening swing shifts (about 3/month, remote reading), which are generally hospital cases (ER + inpatient). The Body MRI Fellowship at Northwestern University and Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago has 1, one-year position for 2024-2025. Fellows rotate through magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound and computed tomography during the course of the year with the main focus of the fellowship on body MR imaging. The MR experience includes abdominal and pelvic examinations. CT examinations include all non-neurological applications including abdominal, pelvic, and chest CT. Ultrasound includes abdominal and pelvic, thyroid, testes, musculoskeletal, vascular/transplant applications, and contrast enhanced ultrasound exams.
