Applicants must be Licensed in South Carolina to practice independently or at the associate level to join our team as an Independent Contractor. Acceptable licenses include: Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Independent Social Worker - Clinical Practice, and Licensed Masters Social Worker. We proudly offer Clinical Supervision to associate level counselors and social workers at no cost.
As a member of our growing team, you will have the opportunity to provide Counseling and Mental Health Services to clients and families in both individual and group settings in the office, via telehealth, or in the school setting.
Applicants who have professional experience and strong skills working with children, adolescents and their families are encouraged to apply! These positions can build from part-time to full-time with the option to provide services in-person, via telehealth, or a combination of both.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in a human services field from an accredited and approved college or university (Required). Current licensure in the State of South Carolina (LPC, LPC-A, LPC-S, LMFT, LISW-CP, LMSW). (Required) Previous experience providing individual, family or group therapy with the child/adolescent/adult population preferred Ability to build rapport with clients Strong leadership qualities Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Purpose: To support patients' well-being by providing mental health assessments and treatments, providing r... esources, educating families, and maintaining patient records.
Duties: Assess patient mental status and problems by interviewing patients, obtaining personal information and medical history, consulting with other professionals, & conducting and evaluating psychological tests. Design and implement treatment programs by:
evaluating patient's willingness to change
setting treatment objectives
tailoring approach to patient's needs
consulting with other professionals
providing brief psychotherapy, crisis intervention and/or personal counseling utilizing individual, conjoint and group treatment modalities
providing information regarding community-based organizations and social services
completing discharge plans
Counsel and educate family members by advising on the most appropriate and helpful roles they can fulfill in the treatment process; treating relationship issues.
