Academic Urogyn Position
Cooper Health Care System Cooper University Hospital, Division of FPMRS is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Urogynecologist to join the faculty. The division supports a busy hospital based prac... tice consisting of 2 full time, 1 part time and 4 full time affiliate faculty at Christiana Care supports a 4 person fellowship.
Responsibilities of the Academic Urogynecologist include clinical practice, education of fellows, residents and medical students, assurance of quality care and participation in research. The practice population includes a variety of complex urogynecologic patients from throughout the southern NJ region. The practice enjoys a strong relationship with a variety of subspecialty services including: Urology, Colorectal, Plastics, GI, Gynecologic Oncology and General Surgery. The outpatient office is supported by a nurse practitioner and a full time nurse.
Cooper University Hospital is a tertiary referral center close to Philadelphia. It serves as the major teaching hospital for Cooper Medical School at Rowan University.
The cornerstone of the Urogyn faculty practice is the development of long-standing physician and patient relationships. Surgery is performed at the hospital and outpatient surgical center in Voorhees. Operating room block time including robotic time is guaranteed.
