Academic Urogyn Position
Cooper Health Care System
Cooper University Hospital, Division of FPMRS is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Urogynecologist to join the faculty. The division supports a busy hospital based practice consisting of 2 full time, 1 part time and 4 full time affiliate faculty at Christiana Care supports a 4 person fellowship.
 
Responsibilities of the Academic Urogynecologist include clinical practice, education of fellows, residents and medical students, assurance of quality care and participation in research.  The practice population includes a variety of complex urogynecologic patients from throughout the southern NJ region.  The practice enjoys a strong relationship with a variety of subspecialty services including: Urology, Colorectal, Plastics, GI,  Gynecologic Oncology and General Surgery. The outpatient office is supported by a nurse practitioner and a full time nurse.
 
Cooper University Hospital is a tertiary referral center close to Philadelphia. It serves as the major teaching hospital for Cooper Medical School at Rowan University.
 
The cornerstone of the Urogyn faculty practice is the development of long-standing physician and patient relationships. Surgery is performed at the hospital and outpatient surgical center in Voorhees. Operating room block time including robotic time is guaranteed.

Division Director - Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery

Job description:

This position reports directly to the Chief of FPMRS. The applicant is eligible for NYMC academic appointment commensurate with experience. The Department of Medical and Surgical Gynecology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a full-time, minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon.
The Department of Gynecology consists of seven board-certified physicians providing care to a rich patient mix involving regional, national, and international patients. All Gyn sub-specialties, including Medical Gynecology, MIGS, Urogynecology, and Gynecologic Oncology are represented in the department. We also launched our Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility practice in 2021. We are a large community hospital with a strong Women’s Service Line. The Department of Gynecology has 50 active members including a combination of employed and private practitioners who do over 4500 deliveries per year. Within the Gynecology Department, we have two gynecologic oncologist, two urogynecologist, one minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon, one reproductive endocrinologist and several nurse practitioners. We work closely with residents and fellows from Johns Hopkins University. We are looking for a dynamic MIGS who is interested in helping to continue to build our new MIGS division, provide individualized patient centered care, and help to educate the next generation.
