The general division of obstetrics and gynecology seeks an outstanding gynecologic surgeon for a full-time position. This is an exciting opportunity to expand the department’s gynecologic services, working in a multidisciplinary outpatient office with attached surgical center. Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible physicians with fellowship training in minimal invasive gynecologic surgery who are interested in resident surgical education and direct patient care in an academic center.

Members of the general division supervise resident continuity clinics, the gynecology teaching service, and provide in hospital gynecologic consultation. Additionally they have an active role in medical student education. Current faculty includes two specialists in minimally invasive surgery. The department includes expertise in family planning, vulvar disease, menopause, and pediatric and adolescent gynecology.

The Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University is a tertiary care center with plans to open a second hospital facility in 2025. The Ohio State University College of Medicine graduates 200 medical students per year. The OB/GYN residency program is integrated with the Mount Carmel medical system and trains 11 residents per year.

Urogynecology position in large private practice in South Florida

A multispecialty OBGYN private practice is seeking a BE/BC Urogynecologist with fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery for their Port St. Lucie, Florida location. There are 2 other urogynecologists and a nurse practitioner in this practice located in West Palm Beach and Boca Raton and therefore do no compete for patients. The private practice has more than 20 OBGYNs, 9 MFMs and 2 MIGS across multiple office locations who directly refer to urogynecology. Urogyn Faculty Position

Clinical responsibilities include participating in the care of urogynecology patients at the UW Hospital and Clinics and Meriter Hospital, including full-time call for in-patient female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery consults and service. The incumbent will participate in opportunities for community service at the department, school, and institution levels appropriate to the faculty rank.

The faculty member will be an active participant in the clinical, research, and academic service in the Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Academic responsibilities include participation in teaching programs related to medical students, residents and fellows, including responsibilities in the simulation lab developing advanced skills and metrics for residents. The candidate is also expected to oversee the training of residents in the operating room, clinic, and inpatient unit and will also participate in the training of department fellows.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin is recruiting a board certified or board eligible Female Pelvic Medicine and Reproductive Surgery (FPMRS) specialist to join three FPMRS physicians as well as several APPs and pelvic floor therapists. Formal clinic (WISH clinic – Women’s Incontinence and Sexual Health) is already established and known in the area. The individual will share inpatient and outpatient care of patients with pelvic floor disorders and be willing to work closely with residents. Close relationship with urologists, gastroenterologists, and colorectal surgeons is already established. Virtually all subspecialists available for consultation if needed. Research opportunities available and outreach clinic may be required in the future. Some coverage of gynecology service required. May be required to provide gynecologic back up (home) call to residency several times a year. Currently, no other home or inhouse call required but home Urogyn call may be required in the future. This position is primarily clinical with additional responsibilities in resident and medical student education as well as research.
