Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis ranked #2 in NIH funding, seeks a Division Chief for the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery of Obstetrics & Gynecology (MIGS). This is a high-growth division operating out of two magnet-designated BJC Hospitals, Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Missouri Baptist Medical Center, with over 900 procedures annually.
The MIGS Chief will join an academic practice of three faculty and one fellow and will have responsibility for the strategic planning, program development, growth, and expansion of clinical operations and outreach in line with the department’s mission, vision, and values. MIGS faculty enjoy state-of-the-art equipment as well as a dedicated simulation room for training.

Candidates must hold board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology with an MD, DO, MD/PhD or equivalent degree as well as have completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Cooper University Health Care is going through an eight-year billion dollar expansion with 3 new towers, is financially solid and the division now has three attendings, a 4-person fellowship with no citations, along with affiliation with Christiana Care with 4 attendings with a total of more than 1000 surgeries a year for the fellows. The division is thriving the last five years and we have added a full-time nurse, a full-time new nurse practitioner and a new office site. We also have guaranteed OR time in both the Surgery Center and the main OR, including robotic time.

Alberta Health Services in partnership with the University of Calgary, Cumming School of Medicine is inviting applicants for a LOCUM clinical sub-specialist position in Urogynecology.

The successful candidate will complement the group of six Urogynecologists within the Section of Urogynecology who work at the Pelvic Floor Clinic at the Foothills Medical Hospital Campus. The successful candidate will deliver ambulatory care, inpatient care and perform urogynecology surgeries.

The candidate is expected to demonstrate commitment to clinical or basic research and participate in recruitment to existing projects within the Section. The candidate would be expected to be an innovative educator that would be very involved with postgraduate and undergraduate medical education, in accordance with specialty specific RCPSC and Cumming School of Medicine standards.

The term of the locum is from March 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024. Shorter periods of coverage may be considered if felt to be feasible and meaningful by the Section.

The successful applicant will have, or be eligible for, certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. Completion of a clinical fellowship in Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction is required. The successful candidate will be expected to apply for a clinical academic appointment with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Qualifications:
