Under general direction in the District Attorney's Victim/Witness Unit, this classification provides direct services to crime victims and witnesses in both the juvenile and adult criminal court systems consistent with victim’s rights as defined in the Wisconsin Constitution and State Statutes. Some positions may provide victim-centered, healing restorative justice (RJ) services to victims, witnesses and defendants.

Program Director--Women's Justice Team

Work collaboratively with Associate Chief Program Officer and Chief Program Officer of Women in Recovery & Women’s Justice Programs to ensure innovative program development and management of services for justice involved women. Lead and manage for results: program, quality and financial/grant goals, staff productivity, client outcomes, community relations and advocacy. Provide supervision of case managers and therapists, to ensure the maintenance of high professional standards, quality services, and responsible management of interventions. Work closely at the community level to impact justice reform for women involved in the criminal justice system in Tulsa County. Functions within interdisciplinary team.

Therapist- Women in Recovery
Family and Children's Services
The Women in Recovery Therapist will provide direct, gender-specific individual and group counseling and therapy services within a day treatment format to participants in the WIR program, with emphasis on recovery from substance abuse, role-modeling, women only groups, trauma, health and wellness, parenting and family reunification. Maintains and cultivates relationships with external agencies, such as court personnel, ancillary service providers, referring agencies, etc.

Senior Equity Policy Manager – Office of Equity
Milwaukee County
The Senior Equity Policy Manager will support the development of equitable policy-making countywide, conduct equity policy analysis, build equity policy assessment and analysis capacity within county departments and municipalities, and supports countywide and regional public policy research and advocacy activities.
Job Duties:
Manage implementation of countywide racial equity assessment and policy review projects and other activities related to analyzing equity impacts on County policies, practices, and procedures
Direct partnership with County departments and divisions to increase equity impact analysis capacity.
Advise policy makers and the public on recommendations for changes in policies that impact County residents and impacted communities. Prepare and review policy related board files.
Develop and implement policies, plans, and programs related to the needs of the most impacted residents.
Develop policy briefs, presentations, white papers, reports, etc. that will advance actionable policy solutions that impact County residents and impacted communities.
Contribute to the department annual report development.
