Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of Child Psychology, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of Developmental Disabilities and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. The position will include clinical, teaching/supervision, and research responsibilities.
The psychologist will primarily work in an interdisciplinary team to evaluate and treat patients, ages 0-15, who are served at the WVU Medicine Children’s Neurodevelopmental Center. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the psychologist will also be actively involved in the teaching of medical students and residents, and psychology graduate students and fellows. The candidate will be involved in our well-known, training-focused APA-accredited clinical psychology internship in our Clinical Child Track, and our Pediatric Fellowship. There are a variety of opportunities for involvement with interdisciplinary clinics across the hospital system as well as involvement in outreach and training for families and statewide providers.
Qualifications: Candidates must have completed an APA/CPA accredited clinical psychology graduate program, with an APA/CPA accredited internship and postdoctoral training and experience in neurodevelopmental disabilities.
