Sexual Violence Prevention Coordinator

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Women’s Resources Center is hiring for a Sexual Violence Prevention Coordinator. This position will cultivate interdisciplinary educational content and partnerships to embed prevention efforts across the institution through culturally informed approaches under the direction of the Associate Director for Prevention. The Coordinator will manage the WRC’s robust peer educator program, including coordinating the FYCARE (First Year Consent and Relationship Education), ICARE Bystander Intervention, GUARD, and I Heart Healthy Relationships programs.

Assistant Director for Interpersonal Violence Prevention Education and Training

The Assistant Director for IPV Prevention Education and Training works to create a campus community that prevents interpersonal violence, including sexual violence, domestic and dating violence, sexual harassment, and stalking. As part of this effort, the Assistant Director conducts and oversees coeducational and intersectional programming and training for students, faculty, and staff; advises student leaders engaged in IPV peer education programming; and provides survivor-centered and trauma-informed care and support services, advocacy, and referrals, as needed.

Under supervision of the Project SAFE Director, the Project SAFE Survivor Advocate is responsible for direct-service advocacy work with students, providing trauma-informed services on a part-time, weekend schedule.

The Dean of Students Office at Keene State College seeks applications for The Office of Violence Against Women Grant Coordinator to coordinate sexual violence prevention on Keene State’s Campus, lead an established campus/community sexual violence prevention team, implement and evaluate the OVW Grant strategic plan, and coordinate all responsibilities related to the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Violence Against Women Campus Grant.
Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Students the Coordinator will serve as the central point of contact for all project activities, lead the Sexual Violence Prevention Coordination Team (SVPCT), oversee student employees, sustain the sexual violence prevention training and education, coordinate campus wide events, and organize grant related travel and professional development.
