Our Talent Acquisition Team currently has 10 people. We manage the recruiting processes for all positions at our various locations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. From the beginning, we are involved in the recruitment process, from the request for a position to the final signing of the contract.

Why is this position temporary? We are implementing one global HR tool (Oracle HCM) by the end of 2025 and are already working on various topics. During this project implementation, we are looking for full- and part-time support for our team, initially limited to two years.

Your responsibilities:

- Identifying, targeting and selecting talented professionals for a variety of positions within our organisation.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates through proactive recruitment strategies.
- Conducting structured interviews and assessing candidates' qualifications, skills and cultural fit
- Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to ensure we attract the best talent to our team
- Collaborate with functional departments to understand their staffing needs and ensure recruitment processes are efficient
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and policies
- Manage and maintain candidate databases and information

Your profile:

- Degree, ideally in human resources, psychology, business administration or a related field
- Passion and enthusiasm for recruiting and identifying talent
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Self-starter, organisational skills and a strong sense of responsibility
Interest in using HR software and databases
- Willingness to learn and open to new challenges

Partner with hiring managers and Talent acquisition partners to understand the organisation’s requirements and help to build job profiles that meet business needs

Use your relationships with internal stakeholders and your knowledge of the recruitment market to influence the Talent Acquisition approach of the business

Define the most appropriate sourcing strategy, channels and social media to identify and attract the most talented people (using a mix of passive and active sourcing)

Create attractive, compliant and diversity-friendly job adverts to promote your vacancies

Screen applications, assessing their potential using the latest tools and technologies

Organise and conduct candidate pre interviews

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will join our People Team, and, together with Moritz (Junior Recruiter) and Duska (Team Lead Talent Acquisition), you will have a direct impact on the ambitious growth plans of AIHR. Currently, we recruit for 8 different teams across the business. In the coming months, we expect the biggest growth in our commercial Marketing and Sales teams.

You will have to opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of the recruitment cycle for various roles. This includes helping the hiring manager open the role, sourcing candidates (locally and internationally) and preparing an offer they will be thrilled to accept. All the while you’re making sure that candidates have an amazing experience, and walk away as raving fans of AIHR, even if the role is not the one for them right now.

You will work closely with both experienced and first-time hiring managers. Your role is to ensure a smooth and fair recruitment process that results in exceptional hires who will thrive in our team. To achieve this, you will collaborate closely with our People team of four: Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Moritz, Team Lead Talent Acquistion - Duska, Head of People - Gemma, and our People Operations and Office Specialist - Chloë. As we grow, we will constantly optimize our processes to improve how we hire new people. And this is where your experience and creative ideas to find smarter ways of working will be crucial.

About you

You are exceptionally structured and proactive in your approach to Recruitment. You dive deeper to understand what your hiring manager really needs and challenge them on the not-so-necessary stuff. You have great communication skills, not just towards your hiring managers and colleagues, but also towards candidates. You also bring a lot of learnings from your Recruitment experience to the company and you like to find ways to work smarter.
Talent Sourcing Expert (f/m/x)
As a Talent Sourcing Expert at ZEISS you will be responsible for direct candidate sourcing for all ZEISS Segments in Germany, ensuring a best in class recruitment experience alongside our corporate recruiters.

Furthermore, you will:
- Create and execute an active sourcing strategy in partnership with corporate recruiters and internal stakeholders
- Identify and engage with suitable candidates to gain their interest to expand their career at ZEISS
- Build strong relationships with passive candidates and develop wide networks of contacts
- Bring creativity to sourcing and think beyond available standard tools to attract talent and drive ZEISS employer brand
- Be responsible for an target group-oriented approach to candidates from the ZEISS candidate pool, job boards, social networks, target group specific communities (online/offline), as well as conducting initial phone interviews
- Establish an internal and external candidate network and talent pool

Your Profile
- A University degree with at least 2 years of experience in either Executive Search or Talent Sourcing in a corporate environment
- Proven sourcing subject matter expertise and a track record of direct sourcing
- An excellent knowledge of using various sourcing channels
- Outstanding search techniques to find the very best candidates in the marketplace
- Ability to gain people’s confidence and put them at ease
- Good organizational and administrative skills
- Fluent German and English skills
