We are seeking EXPERIENCED Inclusive Support Staff for our After School programs! The Inclusive Support Staff will work closely with GCDC staff, with input from parents and the school district to help create and implement fun and engaging activities geared towards improving the overall quality of care and education for each participating child. Inclusive support staff will work with students in a 1:1 to 1:3 ratio.
Job Requirements:
Experience: Prefer five years’ experience in early childhood, school age and /or inclusive education
2. Education/Certification: Education, Human Services, Therapy majors, degree preferred but not required
3. Knowledge/Training: Knowledge of child/youth development; prefer knowledge of resources used in assessing and evaluating educational, social, emotional and physical needs of children in a multi-cultural community setting; ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a timely manner.
4. Physical/Health: Must be in good physical and mental health
Job Duties
1) Develop a nurturing environment for the child(ren) and promoting their individual growth.
2) Engage and support child(ren) to participate in the activities.
3) Develop safe, interactive, social and behavioral individual educational activities for children
4) Implement applicable student behavioral and academic interventions
5) Provide instruction and guidance to child(ren) during activities.
6) Maintain frequent communication with other staff and parents through formal & informal discussions and progress reports.
7) Manage cleanliness, safety and availability of classroom materials.
8) Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
9) Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to school to program to home
10) Assist with data collection for funding reports as needed

Pay: $17.50 per hour

UP Intern Director will serve and manage college students and 18-24-year-old individuals working as interns both through the year and during the summer. The Intern Director will serve as a community leader and liaison between the Interns and UP’s Children and Youth Ministries department staff.

Fundraising & Outreach Associate
Histiocytosis Association
The Fundraising and Outreach Associate is responsible for supporting the Histiocytosis Association’s mission through the planning, creation, and execution of our programs through the coordination of volunteer and internally organized fundraising and awareness events, as well as supporting various campaigns and appeals for fundraising. The Fundraising and Outreach Associate assists in identifying opportunities for sponsorship and grants, manages donor relationships, and aids the Outreach Department in outreach efforts with the patient-family community, health care community, and greater histio community.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Coordinate multiple volunteer-organized fundraising and awareness events, in addition to the management of existing Association-led events and the development of new events
Respond to new fundraising enquiries and promote fundraising across the broader community
Assist with organization-led direct mail and annual giving campaigns
Assist Fundraising and Executive Director in grant writing and grant opportunity identification
Conduct research on prospective donors, analyzing information about lapsed donors, and cultivating relationships with current donors
Assist in developing and managing major donor campaigns and other executive level fundraising efforts
Monitor and maintain records regarding charity accountability standards
Engage with various organizations and programs to identify resources for the histiocytosis community and develop high impact ways to share (clinical trials, financial support, transportation support, treatment advancements, etc.)
Attend fundraising and awareness events as a member of the Association team, assisting with tasks including but not limited to set up and break down, registration, engaging with families, and participating in the event’s activities.
