University of Maryland The Department of Radiology seeks an ABR board eligible/certified radiologist for a faculty position in the Section of Musculoskeletal Imaging at the University of Maryland School... of Medicine in Baltimore. The radiologist would provide interpretations for all imaging related to the musculoskeletal system. These include radiograph interpretations, image guided joint injections and aspirations, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, and computed tomography. Musculoskeletal fellowship training or prior experience in musculoskeletal imaging is required to join an expanding program that includes affiliated community hospitals and imaging centers. Research opportunities abound, including research in Artificial Intelligence and Informatics. There is extensive case material through our integrated R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. There are also ample teaching activities with our residents, medical students, and musculoskeletal fellows. Appointments to the School of Medicine will be made at an academic level appropriate for the candidate’s experience. Applicants must meet the requirements for Maryland licensure. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are proudly offered. Faculty rank is commensurate with candidate’s qualifications and experience. Salary range for faculty would be starting at the 50th percentile for AAARAD with a range across all ranks. The Musculoskeletal Imaging Department consists of 11 radiologists. Members of the department are responsible for the following: Delivering excellent, comprehensive, and compassionate care for patients; Providing multimodality approaches to musculoskeletal imaging; Educating medical students, residents, and fellows; Developing academic and scholarly programs and projects; and Fostering interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to clinical care, research, and education.
This position has a target base salary of $443,854 to $569,708 and is eligible for incentive compensation and retirement benefits placing our remuneration package well in the 75th percentile nationally. ABOUT THE POSITION Radia is seeking a Board-certified/eligible musculoskeletal radiologist for the Seattle area... to interpret predominately musculoskeletal radiology. A multimodality musculoskeletal radiology fellowship is required. Musculoskeletal ultrasound skillset would be beneficial.
Candidates would join a group with over 20 musculoskeletal radiology subspecialists. Radia’s musculoskeletal radiology section interprets images for 3 national professional sports teams, a minor league team, and 1 collegiate athletic program and reads for more than 70 MRIs, including 14 3T magnets. We offer the latest in magnet, coil, and sequence technology including AI software and advanced metal suppression techniques.
This shareholder track position will be mostly onsite daytime shifts with 10 weeks’ vacation. If desired, home workstations are available for up to 20% of shifts that can be worked remotely. Additional work is available for added compensation. Shareholder track physicians will be reviewed for shareholder consideration at 1 year.
Compensation: Compensation predicated on shifts worked and employment type.
