Mälardalen University Position description
The MoDev project aims at combining well-established software development paradigms to maximise the trade-off between three core aspects: variabili... ty, flexibility and agility. MoDev will provide methodological and technical solutions for the combination of Software Product Lines (SPLs), blended Model-based Development (MBD), and DevOps, with focus on early verification and validation (V&V). The solutions will be concretised into a prototype framework.
The postdoc researcher will focus on identify theories, methods and tools for blended and collaborative modelling, in terms of editing, visualization and synchronisation, of SPLs, and theories, methods and tools for continuous model-based development and analysis of product families. The position also involves teaching.
The postdoc will work with the project team in MoDev, but is expected to manage her/his duties independently.
Qualification requirements
The applicant is required to have a PhD degree in Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering. The applicant must have completed the degree no more than three years before the end of the application period.
The applicants are required to possess a PhD degree in Computer Science and excellent knowledge and skills in theoretical and practical software engineering (at least 60 ECTS in programming, programming languages and software engineering) with particular emphasis on model-driven engineering, especially graphical and textual modelling, modelling and manipulation of software/system/data models, model transformations, as well as Java programming in the Eclipse platform.

Post-doc Position in AI for Continuous Software Engineering available at the University of L'Aquila (Italy)
University of L'Aquila Estimated start date: September 1st, 2021 Type of contract: Fixed term contract for 12 months. The contract can be renewed. Gross salary: 32,000 EUR per Year.
The ... research will be done in the context of the ECSEL JU European Project AIDOaRT (AI-augmented automation for efficient DevOps, a model-based framework for continuous development At RunTime in cyber-physical systems) project [2]. The main objectives of the research will be the development of techniques and tools for supporting the software and systems continuous engineering process of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPSs). In particular, the AIDOaRt framework aims at: (i) supporting the collection, representation and traceability of runtime data (such as logs, events and metrics) and software models, (ii) assisting in the analysis of both historical and real-time data in combination with design information, and (iii) enhancing the automation of the DevOps toolchain by integrating the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques (notably, Machine Learning) in multiple aspects of the development process (e.g., requirements support, monitoring, modelling, coding and testing activities).
The candidates are expected to have a PhD degree in related fields and good publication records. Experience in collaborative research projects and in supervising masters and undergraduate students will constitute a preferential element.

Prae-Doc / Project Assistant
Johannes Kepler University Interested in Model Driven Engineering, DevOps, AI/ML, and their unexplored combination for AI-augmented, continuous engineering of Cyber Physical Systems? This job offer and the ... AIDOaRt European-funded project are what you are looking for.
Project Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree) for a full-time, one-year position (can be extended to three years) at the Institute of Business Informatics – Software Engineering
The Project AIDOaRt (AI-augmented DevOps, a model-based framework for continuous development At RunTime for CPSs) will investigate AI-augmented automation of software engineering activities, focussing on modeling, coding, testing, and monitoring as part of a continuous development in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPSs). The growing complexity of CPS poses several challenges throughout all software development and analysis phases, but also during their usage and maintenance.
The project targets the development of a model-based framework to support teams during the automated continuous development of CPSs by means of integrated AI-augmented solutions. The overall AIDOaRT infrastructure will work with existing data sources, including traditional IT monitoring, log events, along with software models and measurements.
