This position will work a balanced schedule between the Adult Learning Centers and learning sites in the counties operated by MSU. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required with two years of related experience. The incumbent must be proficient in the basic educational skills required to provide GED Test instruction (reading, math, language, social studies, and science), literacy, ACT/COMPASS instruction and transitions courses. Computer skills and excellent communication skills are also needed. Ability to provide flexibility and tolerance to diverse populations. Valid Kentucky driver’s license required.

Collaborates with staff in planning, organizing, and implementing program services in order to ensure student Maintains a student advising caseload; assists students by determining their individual needs, creating appropriate goals and addressing their academic, career, and personal/socials needs. Serves as an instructor for NOVA-specific coursework designed. Oversees the selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of student workers and tutors. Compiles quarterly reports of tutoring services and student employee performance for the Director’s review.
