Asset Management Specialist

As the Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative and program support for the Fair Market portfolio managed by third-party property management companies. In addition, you will audit reports, assist residents via phone and email, prepare and review reports, assist in preparing and reviewing annual operating budgets, and assist with site inspections as needed. To thrive in this role, you’ll need intermediate experience with Excel, specifically creating spreadsheets, using formulas, and familiarity with sorting and filtering data. In addition, you’ll need skill in organizing and managing a significant flow of paperwork and research, along with the ability to establish and maintain necessary records and prepare clear and concise reports.

Housing & Client Service Specialist I

Are you energized by helping our county's vulnerable populations? Our Housing and Client Service Specialist is the first point of contact, along with a Client Service Representative, with HASCO for visitors, callers and incoming paperwork. This role works at the front desk assisting visitors/callers. They will greet walk-ins, answer incoming calls, and address Housing Choice Voucher-specific questions.

As a Housing and Client Service Specialist I, you will learn about the Housing Choice Voucher program, how to route callers to their appropriate contact, how to handle incoming paperwork and payments, along with learning the basics about every department across HASCO. The Housing and Client Service Specialist role is a great place to learn about and interact with people from across the agency, along with an opportunity to provide excellent service to visitors from the public and those in need of assistance.

COMPENSATION: $50,143.84 - $57,323.51 + state benefits package
HOURS: M-F, 40 hours per wk. Very occasional nights or weekends.

DESCRIPTION: Under direction of the HS+/GED/Adult High School Advising Manager, this position provides outreach, intake & support for students in HS completion programs (HS+, GED & Adult HS). Duties include community outreach, managing admission, tracking data, advising & ongoing support for students, leading to successful program completion & transition to college. This position plays a critical role in student enrollment, retention & success at Edmonds College. The Pre-College Division serves students from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds & is committed to increasing the cultural diversity of its staff & faculty.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Student Services, OR a related field. At least 1 year providing case management, counseling, advising or related services to adults (16 years & older) representing a broad spectrum of backgrounds, preferably in an educational setting.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Adult Education, Counseling, Student Services, or a related field. Excellent organization, information management & coordination skills. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Experience case managing students to complete in an alternative high school setting & transition to college programs. Ability to market programs, recruit participants & network with a wide range of campus & community stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands, interpret regulations & streamline processes. Multilingual/Bilingual, preferably in a regionally top spoken language in addition to English (Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic, Pashto)
