Financial Empowerment Specialist

Work to promote financial literacy within the St. Louis community. Assist with developing a comprehensive, engaging, meaningful and contemporary financial literacy educational k-12 curriculum with an emphasis on the St. Louis Public School system and Charter School system. Educate the community on College Kids programs and the importance of utilizing the program. Manage the library of financial literacy resources (presentations, online tools, etc.) by reviewing regularly and updating content. Assist with planning, organizing, attending OFE/College Kids events and special community events; assist with implementation of financial education programs within the community. Assist with the tracking of community outreach requests, donations, sponsorships; help set goals and track effectiveness. Track enrollee participation in conjunction with OFE and College Kids’ incentives. Support tracking system and provide reporting. Create survey tools to engage clients in conversation regarding program. Create and maintain electronic documentation of attendance at outreach events. Assist in promoting awareness of the program by enhancing its marketing and social media strategies. Assist with maintaining enrollee database. Host and/or attend occasional evening events, meetings and workshops. Conduct marketing and outreach campaigns to potential donors; to parents and students; and to general community. Coordinate workshops on financial topics. Compile up-to-date financial information for use by CSA clients.

The Associate Director, Box Office and Audience Experience is responsible for the overall direction and success of the SLSO’s ticketing operations. Reporting to the Director of Hospitality and Audience Experience, this individual plays a crucial role in the Marketing department’s pricing strategies and patron purchasing experience, and serves as a resource for Tessitura, the SLSO’s ticketing and CRM software. As a key member of the Artistic Operations Department and full-time member of the stage crew, the Stage Manager is responsible for leading all stage crew activities (3-4 Full-time Stagehands and extra Stagehands as needed) related to the placement and movement of concert equipment and instruments for St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Youth Orchestra, Symphony Chorus, IN UNISON Chorus, and rental events in Powell Hall, as well as select services outside of Powell Hall, including parks concerts, runouts and tours. Teamwork and leadership are crucial to the success of this position. Race Forward is hiring a part-time/temporary (for an approximate period of 1year) local coordinator for the 2024 Facing Race: A National Conference held in St. Louis, MI.
Facing Race is the largest national, multiracial, intergenerational, and multi-issue gathering of advocates, organizers, educators, journalists, artists, policymakers and researchers building toward racial justice.
This convening provides space to learn new racial justice skills, strategies, successful policy, and organizing initiatives. Attendees also exchange best practices, innovative models for shifting the paradigm. The Program Manager will support the life cycle of programs, including their initial scope and implementation. The Program Manager will plan, analyze, implement, and evaluate programmatic data and propose data-driven enhancements to the grant-funded work. To be successful in this role, you will need to support the day-to-day functioning of the critical program areas and contribute to and implement the department-wide plans for the efficient and effective achievement of program goals.
As part of the Bridges to Care and Recovery team, your initial work will focus on the expansion of the BCR program to further empower predominantly Black faith communities to reduce stigma, increase knowledge of behavioral health, and break down barriers to accessing care. You will serve as a liaison between congregations and community mental health service providers, and you will develop training curriculum and tools for Pastors to use in the church to further support stigma reduction for seeking behavioral health treatment.
