This is a full time position. Clinical patient care is a priority and the candidate should have strong skills in all facets of Thoracic Imaging. The expectation is that the candidate will also actively participate in research and education. Mayo Clinic Rochester offers a Thoracic Radiology fellowship, has a large residency program, and has significant infrastructure for clinically driven investigations. The Division of Thoracic Radiology works in a highly collaborative fashion with our clinical colleagues – especially those from pulmonary medicine, thoracic surgery, and oncology - and supports multiple multidisciplinary conferences and interdisciplinary research projects.

The fellowship is designed to provide a comprehensive educational experience that includes exposure to the latest imaging technologies and techniques, as well as opportunities for research and scholarly activities.
We have been at the forefront of developing and implementing artificial intelligence (AI) tools for imaging analysis, with 4 active AI tools utilized for patient care on a day to day basis. We have collaborations with industry leaders in the development of these tools and have published extensively on the use of AI in medical imaging.

University of Virginia Health System The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Thoracic Radiologist to join the growin... g Section of Thoracic Imaging. Primary duties for this position will include reading all thoracic-related studies, including plain films, CTs, and MRIs. Non-invasive cardiovascular imaging includes high-volume cardiac MR & CT, and thoracoabdominal CTA & MRA.
The Thoracic Imaging Section currently consists of six radiologists and has active research and fellowship programs. The section provides all adult thoracic imaging, including oncologic work, high-resolution CT, thoracopulmonary MR, and lung cancer screening, and will be implementing a clinical hyperpolarized gas lung imaging program to complement its research program in this arena. The non-invasive cardiovascular imaging (NICV) section is made up of four academically-oriented attending imagers. The sections include multiple fellows.
