Assistant Director of Youth and Educational Partnerships
Middlebury College
Middlebury College’s Center for Community Engagement seeks an Assistant Director to foster student learning related to Youth & Educational Partnerships. The Assistant Director identifies, supports, and sustains interested faculty and community partners who help create meaningful experiential learning opportunities for students. The Assistant Director supports diverse students’ development of civic skills, knowledge, and identities through advising relationships and by crafting and implementing trainings. They advise approximately nine youth-serving student organizations, including Community Friends, with a focus anti-racism, organizational sustainability, inclusive recruitment, civic learning, and risk management. The position also oversees the Center’s on- and off-campus strategic communications, marketing, and outreach, in collaboration with student interns and institutional partners. By designing and sharing communications tools that illustrate engagement with and support for students, faculty, and communities, the Assistant Director provides a range of constituents with resources and information about connecting academic inquiry with civic participation.

Temporary Administrative and Personal Care Assistant

Vermont Center for Independent Living, a statewide disability rights organization, is currently seeking candidates for the following position:

20 hours per week in the Montpelier office (potential for more hours). The successful candidate will possess excellent administrative, communication and record-keeping skills, be detail oriented, organized and motivated. Experience providing personal attendant care, including toileting and feeding (must be able to lift and transfer), is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate in this aspect of the job. $16/per hour.

This is a temporary position expected to last until September 2022 (dependent on funding).
