BIM Specialist Denver, CO (Greenwood Village area... )
Do you want to be part of a multidisciplinary firm where everyone on the team is focused on the same vision? If so, you have found the right spot! Walker is seeking a BIM Specialist with Revit and AutoCAD experience to join the Denver, CO office.
As a BIM Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical document creation support for engineering and architectural projects. In this role, you will also assist in the development of project technical support budgets, completion dates and assesses it periodically; understand and communicate project requirements to the design team; monitor the industry for potential improvement of in-house systems and processes and assist the project team with field inspections and punch lists.
The ideal candidate will be currently working as a job captain, project architect or structural drafting technician.
Responsibilities: · Design using Revit and AutoCAD (BIM); · Create models, arrange details and plan sheets; · Edit per project requirements and assemble documents; · Monitor drawings and models for adherence for Walker's quality control standards; · Work under time constraints and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications: · Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting or similar. Professional licensure (R.A., P.E.) are NOT required for this position; · 0-5 years of experience working in a similar role using Revit and AutoCAD; · Knowledge using Revit and AutoCAD. Preferably more knowledge of Revit! · Excellent verbal and written communication skills; · Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel; · Understand various components of structures (and how they fit together) is preferred but not required.

Perform installation, maintenance and support of License Plate Recognition (LPR) Systems (camera hardware and software)
Act as a primary on-site and remote technical point of contact for LPR hardware and software
Software Installation, including configuration and testing of LPR software
Hardware installation, including permanent mounting of cameras and CPUs in a client’s vehicle
