LRK LRK is seeking a talented and motivated Urban Designer / Planner to join our team in the Memphis office. The Urban Designer / Planner will work collaboratively with project and co... nsultant teams to develop creative solutions that focus on placemaking and sustainability at the region, community, neighborhood, block, and building scales. Strong communication skills through drawing, writing, and speaking are essential for this position. Responsibilities include preparing/contributing to: • 2D/3D conceptual drawings • Vision Books, Master Plans, Design Guidelines, Form-Based Codes, and Implementation Strategies. • Project coordination with a multidisciplinary consultant team • Stakeholder/Community Engagement and the Charrette Process.
The ideal candidate must have 0-4 years of experience and must possess outstanding communication skills. Demonstrated problem solving skills are required. Proficiency with Revit, InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp Pro and Microsoft Office Suite is a must. Bachelors of Architecture or Urban Design is required. Masters degree in Urban Design is a plus.
