Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervises animal shelter staff; oversees service calls; responds to customer complaints. Provides staff training regarding shelter operations and procedures; ensures staff receive state-mandated continuing education hours. Answers phones; greets visitors; provides information regarding applicable laws and ordinances. Oversees animal adoptions; prepares documentation for incoming/outgoing/licensing activities. Enforces laws and ordinances; issues citations; appears in court as needed. Contacts rescue organizations regarding the transporting of animals. Animal Control Officer
