Postdoctoral researcher
Royal Veterinary College
Creating genetically-accurate models of CLN3 disease in zebrafish. Not yet officially advertised
Postdoctoral fellowships
Pediatric Storage Disorders Laboratory
Postdoctoral fellowships are available in the Pediatric Storage Disorders Laboratory, Washington University in St Louis to study and treat new aspects of disease in NCL mouse and sheep models. Using functional and behavioral tests, histology, quantitative microscopy, pre-clinical translation (enzyme replacement, gene therapy). For further information please contact Dr. Jonathan Cooper via cooperjd@wustl.edu
Postdoctoral scientist (junior/senior)
Penn State College of Medicine
We study how organelle crosstalk between mitochondria and lysosomes contributes to cell function and disease (including lysosomal storage diseases like Batten disease). My lab has two funded positions for postdoctoral scientists, one junior and one senior. We seek scientists that are interested in metabolism, organelle crosstalk, and signaling mechanisms of disease.

Experience in any of the following is a plus: imaging, RNAseq analysis/bioinformatics, neurobiology, iPSC differentiation is a plus.

The project involves cultured mammalian cells (including some CRISPR new lines we generated), iPSC-derived cells, and mouse models, and often builds on in silico data to generate testable hypothesis.

The position is initially offered for one year due to university rules, but is renewable.
