Senior Transportation Engineer

The primary responsibilities include a... ssisting with developing technical proposals, assisting and coordinating the development of a service delivery plan for complex technical solutions, assisting with developing and managing client relationships as well as assisting with reviewing budgets, schedules, quality, team deliverables and staffing needs for various transportation projects.
Responsibilities:
Participates in development of technical proposals. Assist with coordinate staffing and workload balancing from project planning/development to complete construction documents for Transportation RFP Review estimates for the engineering budget and schedule required to meet the goal and objectives listed in RFP Assist with determining strategies to resolve problems identified in RFPs. Assist with aligning the skills sets of various firms with the problems identified in RFP Execute training for firm owners and their personnel as required Review complex technical solutions developed by others Review quality control procedures developed by others Technical Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
· Professional Engineer (P.E.)
· Demonstrated experience working on successful projects with public agencies
· At least 10 years of progressive experience as an engineer and project manager in the transportation design field
· At least 7-10 years of project management experience in transportation planning/ design/Construction management
· Ability to demonstrate project leadership experience
· At least 5 years assisting business development/client services manager experience
· Strong networks and relationships in the transportation market
