Camp Director - Camp Pondicherry

Girl Scouts of Maine has an immediate opening for a talented, dynamic director for Camp Pondicherry in Bridgton, in Maine’s beautiful Lakes Region. The Camp Director is a year-round position responsible for managing all aspects of camp, including the administration of resident camp, day camp, troop and family camp, off season events, and program events. The work of this position is integrated into the overall program goals of GSME, therefore, the Director participates in various collaborative council committees and efforts. The Camp Director ensures that program offerings are based on the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, customized to address the needs, preferences and interests of girls, and implemented to meet designated leadership program outcomes.

The Camp Director is based at the South Portland office in the off season. Work schedule can be hybrid which includes working remotely. During the summer months, Director must live on site at Camp Pondicherry (private apartment provided). Frequent in-state travel is required throughout the year. Additionally, evening and weekend work may arise during the year but is required during the summer.
