Morning Glory Montessori will be an all-boys, Afrocentric, Christian Montessori school in Minneapolis. MGM's mission is to provide a safe, nourishing school experience that affirms, inspires and supports Black boys to develop freely, excel academically, and become who God designed them to be. MGM will be the first of its kind in Minnesota and the nation by providing families with a high-fidelity Montessori environment, guided by an Afrocentric educational approach, grounded in Christian liberation theology. MGM's original curriculum will reflect a powerful confluence of Montessori principles, cultural identity, and faith formation, providing Black boys with a strong sense of self and the freedom to reach their fullest potential at their own unique pace.
