Our current programme of work in Wales is focussed on four key areas: - Fair and healthy food systems integrated into all thinking and decisions about well-being, land use and resources - Investigating and promoting the potential for agroecology in Wales - Developing a national nature service in Wales - Increasing and directing resources for a just transition to more sustainable food and farming systems and flourishing rural economies
This role will suit you if you have: - Action-orientated and outcome-focused leadership skills, with a track record of effective project delivery across one or more of our key themes. - Significant and varied experience in public policy research development, with a mature understanding of the complex policy landscape across the breadth of our mandate. - Specialist expertise and interest in one or more of our key themes: food and farming, sustainable development, land use, economics, local democracy and system change, and in wider public policy and reform. - A shared sense of purpose for our mission, with commitment to finding practical solutions to the climate, nature, health and economic crises.
Term: 1 year freelance contract on a part-time basis (with option to extend) Contract value: £30,000 (inclusive of any applicable VAT) over the contract’s length (approx. 12 days per month) Location: Home based (must be based in Wales) Closing date: 23:59 on Sunday, 16th January 2022
