Executive Director/CEO
Raisedby.us

RaisedBy.Us, a nonprofit helping high-growth employers set up and run employee giving and volunteering programs, is seeking a CEO / Executive Director. We have directed over $4 million to 1,300+ charities - with $1.4 million in 2019 alone - and facilitated tens of thousands of employee volunteering hours for hundreds of causes that need it most. Now we’re looking for an ambitious leader to use our initial traction, high-profile board, and now 37 top-tier clients as a platform to scale our charitable efforts exponentially.

The Vision for RaisedBy.Us

More than two-thirds of Americans feel it’s important to give back, but fewer than half give to charity in a given year. Moreover, 84% of millennials (who now comprise over 50% of the workforce) want their company to identify ways to get involved in their community, and 88% of millennials say their job is more fulfilling when they are provided opportunities to make a positive impact. Larger employers have teams of people to put together these opportunities for employees, but most high-growth companies lack the headspace otherwise needed to set up and run consistent and impactful employee giving and volunteering programs.

We’re here to help.

We are channeling all that goodwill, inspiring employees to give back to great causes through volunteering, donating, and community events. We partner with high-growth employers, giving us a distribution channel to thousands of employees who otherwise wouldn’t have the chance to give back through their workplaces. The result is the translation of workplace activations into lifelong giving and volunteering habits, changing how philanthropy is distributed and driving vast amounts of critical resources to the nonprofit sector.

We’ve started with -- now 37 -- companies in New York City. We’ll expand to San Francisco, Boston, and LA. Eventually we will be the organization that inspires giving back for millions of employees at thousands of high-growth companies across the country.
