Engage and mentor RBTs and BCBA supervisees while handling a caseload of 28-30 billable hours a week

Pediatric Physical Therapist
Cutting Edge Pediatric & Adult Therapy
Complete thorough evaluation including range of motion/mobility, assess orthopedic needs, movement analysis and functional abilities for the child that incorporates functional mobility skills in the pediatric population.

Educate and demonstrate (verbally and/or in writing) therapy techniques to parents that can be incorporated into a home program; assist families in home program facilitation.

Develop individualized goals for each child incorporating functional abilities with the objective to increase daily living skills.

Develop and implement treatment program to meet the individual needs of the child.

Attend staff meetings, in-service training, and maintain professional clinical competency by attending certified CEUs in-service or workshops in the area of pediatrics.

Maintain communication with child’s primary physician through progress reports or other communication measures.

May participate in public speaking or community education programs that focus on issues relating to therapy and children.

Assess and make recommendations regarding the use of therapeutic, adaptive, and/or positioning equipment as needed and provide written justification and coordinate purchase equipment for a child with team members, service coordinator, intake/billing specialists, families, and other allied professionals.

Responsible for timely documentation of evaluation results, progress reports, discharge reports, daily notes, attendance reports, Medicaid prior authorizations and insurance justifications as required.

Provide clinical supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and volunteers.

Adhere to the agency safety policies and procedures.

Be an active member of a multidisciplinary treatment team to create a comprehensive developmental approach to patient-centered care.
