Basic Function:
This position is housed at THIE Headquarters located in Georgetown, TX. The Claims Coordinator is responsible for the setup of all new claims, including the completion of all data screens, inputting of initial predetermined reserves, mailing of initial letters, and providing insureds with claim number and adjuster contact information. Process urgent requests as needed for immediate claim setups. Provide administrative support to the Claims Department and assist with coordination and preparation for special events. Serve as back-up for receptionist on phone and front desk coverage and administrative support for other departments as needed.

Must have valid Texas Drivers’ License and proof of insurance. Knowledge required is equivalent to associate degree or vocational training in office skills. Minimum of three years’ experience as an administrative assistant.
