The Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) works to ensure the identification and accommodation of eligible children (birth to 36 months old). The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluation and/or treatment programming for infants and toddlers who live in the catchment area of the program, which includes Fort Bend and Waller Counties. Texas Panhandle Centers Early Childhood Intervention
• The Registered Occupational Therapist will provide occupational therapy for Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) enrolled clients. They will coordinate initial assessments, updates, and IFSP’s (Individual Family Service Plans) with ECI staff. They will also act as Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to help authorize and coordinate medically necessary services per ECI policy.
