Assistant Project Manager
David Allen Company
The desired candidate will have a working knowledge of commercial construction processes. A general knowledge of tile and stone is desirable, but not required. We will train the successful candidate to effectively manage projects from start to finish.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist Operations team with managing multiple projects from start up to completion
- Coordinate materials and suppliers from quantity estimates, procurement and delivery.
- Create comprehensive project documentation management using proven systems and management tools.
- Facilitate the successful oversight of all aspects of the project production, performance and profit.
- Create and monitor proposals for RFI’s, Change Requests and Field Work Authorizations.
- Manage project procurement, cost control, budgeting and labor coordination resulting in a high quality technically complete complicated installation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-5 years construction experience or equivalent construction related degree, such as Construction Management, Architecture, etc.
Comfortable with construction technology platforms such as ProCore, On Screen Take Off, Measure Square
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency with high level of performance in Excel
Experienced reviewing Blueprints and Shop Drawings with a high degree of detailed comprehension
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A positive team player with high energy and a "Can Do" attitude
Creative thinking, problem solving, multi tasking skills
Ability to adapt to a dynamic workflow with an occasionally demanding pace
