Fund Raising & Development Coordinator
The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development The Fundraising and Development Coordinator will support expanding and diversifying the funding base of our organization. This role focuses on engaging with private foundations, p... hilanthropic entities, individual donors, and other initiatives to secure financial support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in direct donor and foundation fundraising, with a passion for supporting Native American entrepreneurs through economic development initiatives. This position will be responsible for researching, writing, revising, and submitting grant proposals to help NCAIED receive funding.
The ideal candidate will have strong research and grant writing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in database management and record-keeping, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Event coordination experience is also desirable. A proven track record in direct donor and foundation fundraising is critical. Knowledge of philanthropy and private giving organizations focused on Native American businesses and economic development is a plus.

NCAIED Technical Assistance Specialist
The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development The Technical Assistance Specialist will provide outreach and technical assistance for tourism to tribes and tribal communities within their assigned region (Alaska, Hawaii, North... west, Southwest and East Coast).
Regular Assigned Duties: Conduct outreach efforts to assigned region to establish relationships with tribes and tribal communities Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps and resources in order to provide technical assistance and support to Native American tourism for the tribes within the region Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver comprehensive and effective technical assistance programs Collaborate with the tribes to deliver creative solutions to develop or boost tourism Coordinate special events or training programs
Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of American Indian culture and familiarity with the challenges faced by Native American tribes is a plus Knowledge of the tourism industry is a plus Rural experience is a plus Ability to travel (25%) Ability to build and sustain relationships Ability to make cold calls Ability to identify resources and solutions to complex problems Track record of success in leading change and innovation with demonstrated results. Understanding of current and emerging issues of the organization’s program areas and the ability to quickly gain knowledge in new areas. Ability to work independently and as part of a complex team effort. History of success in roles requiring creative and critical thinking while managing multiple priorities.
