Intellectual Property Counsel - Arizona
Becton Dicikinson & Co BD is seeking a patent attorney with 8-12 years of legal experience to support the Peripheral Intervention (BDPI) business headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. Medical device and in-... house experience are strongly preferred. This position will be responsible for the intellectual property needs of platforms within the BDPI business such as peripheral vascular and oncology (see https://www.bd.com/en-us/offerings/capabilities), including performing and/or managing patent preparation/prosecution, post-grant activities, freedom-to-operate analyses, due diligence and strategic counseling. The position reports to an Associate General Counsel, Intellectual Property located at the BDPI Arizona headquarters. This role will work cross-functionally to ensure successful translation of requirements into high-quality software and systems integration that will drive value for the March of Dimes.
The Business Analyst is responsible for conducting market analyses, analyzing product lines, and creating detailed business analysis which provides opportunities and solutions for March of Dimes. The Business Analyst will work cross-functionally to define business requirements for projects and report requirements back to stakeholders, lead planning and monitoring for implementation, and provide insights that help to streamline and improve internal and external reporting throughout the March of Dimes.
Position Responsibilities:
Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs to develop an in depth understanding of opportunities to provide recommendations and solutions. Works with cross-functional teams to facilitate meetings and capture requirements in the form of user stories, use cases and wire frames. Defines, prioritizes and clarify user stories when needed. Leads development of project plans, project implementation and post-implementation support. Support development of project plans, project implementation and post-implementation support. Assist in to define and implement data governance and systems governance strategies and procedures which will support the Digital Enablement team. Create and maintain documentation related to business requirements, user needs, project health and progress.
