Long Term Substitute- Multisensory Reading Specialist

The Windham School District is seeking a Long Term Substitute - Reading Specialist with experience teaching foundational reading skills using a multisensory, language-based format. Candidates must have a strong background in foundation reading skills using a multisensory, language-based format. Candidates must have a strong background in teaching Literacy/Reading. Strong knowledge of literacy development, literacy instruction, assessment, and professional learning. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Familiarity with writing IEP goals, progress reports and attending IEP meetings is preferred.
Salary: The daily rate for this position is $219.63. This position is not benefit eligible.
Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: 0037 Reading and Writing Specialist. Will consider candidates with 1900: Special Education Teacher with experience providing multi sensory reading instruction
