Position Summary and Responsibilities
As a technical expert in the field of hydrographic data processing, digital terrain modelling, bathymetric & topographic data management, engineering analysis, you are the main point of contact with our current and future customers, providing support over email, phone and online resources as well as trainings remote or onsite around the world. Working closely with colleagues from Teledyne Optech you will also become familiar and be exposed to the same tasks within the LiDAR survey industry.



Your main tasks & responsibilities:



Provide first line technical support to our customers
Provide software training in the office as well as at client sites primarily throughout the Americas and the Asia Pacific region;
Build close working relationships with existing clients;
Analyze current client systems and issues, identify technical problems, formulate and demonstrate integrated solutions;
Document workflows, operating procedures and technical notes for our customers;
Potentially be involved in marketing and sales activities of Teledyne CARIS and Teledyne Optech, including attending international conferences and exhibitions;
Provide expert consultancy, once fully experienced within this role.
