The successful candidate will be detailed oriented, proactive, resourceful, and be able to build strong relationships within the department and cross-functionally.
This position is responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and ensuring the accuracy of vendor accounts, invoice routing and input, and payments.
During the training period, the Accounts Payable Manager must work fully onsite from our corporate headquarters in Anaheim to get acquainted with the team and processes. After training, this role will work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 remote).
Responsibilities
Provide leadership to the AP team and manage day-to-day operations. Distribute the workload to the AP team. Liaison between the AP function, operations and vendors. Responsible for the vendor master management in the Company’s ERP system. Review invoices to be processed for payment. Review and approve coding of invoices. Reconcile Vendor Aging. Resolve payments and billing issues with vendors, as necessary. Propose process improvement changes. Support accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close, including management of the monthly close calendar deadlines related to accounts payable. Annual 1099 tax reporting. Perform additional duties and assume additional responsibilities as identified by Controller for the efficient operation of WorkCare.
